It was fun to search through YouTube. I've seen many videos from this site. I had heard that there were interesting classical music videos which I searched through (and watched a few).
I heard about Hulu from an NPR program, but hadn't yet spent the time to search through it. I am more interested in seeing older shows and did find that they have programs like "Lost in Space" which I remember as being much more well acted. I'm going to watch some movies from home...
I didn't spend as much time on Fancast, but I did look around the site. I believe that I like Hulu better.

Facebook...
I've been getting a lot of grief lately from friends that I don't have a Facebook page. I've been noodle-ing around with it, but couldn't find any friends to link up with. I've had some colleagues who were job hunting say that they didn't want to have Facebook pages because they didn't want their prospective employers looking them up... Interesting concept.

Photos on the web
Wow, what a great place to lose yourself. I went through the Libraries of Austria group and found this beautiful picture of the National Library (Nationalbibliothek).
I visited this library with my great uncle and Librarian friend Kirsten in the early 90s. The person at the door refused to charge us admission at the door because we were librarians. She said that when she visited the Library of Congress, she wasn't charged, so she would reciprocate with us. It was a wonderful day and a beautiful space to walk through.
I think that I might want to go through my photos at home and add some...
Streaming Music
I'm not one who listens to music all of the time. I usually need quiet when I am working. Even as a teen I found listening to music while I worked a distraction.
I think that for someone who loves to listen to music, a tool like streaming music would be essential.
I tried out Pandora and found it easy to use. I like the idea of their database providing music similar to what you like to hear. This would be a lot cheaper than buying CDs and finding that you only like one song (which is how my husband explores new music -- we have and ENORMOUS CD collection). I'm going to make sure that he is familiar with Pandora because I believe that he would find it a blast.
