I've been using RSS feeds for the last few months (since I found out how helpful they are). In my iGoogle account I keep track of our Sno-Isle Collection Development blog (find out what is new and exciting in our collection!) and Smart Bitches Who Love Trashy Novels (find out what's new and exciting in the romance genre -- OK, OK, what's exciting in romance novels is almost always more exciting than collection development). I really like that I don't have to type in a bunch of addresses and search through a bunch of screens to see what is new.
I finally learned what RSS stood for while reading this 2.0 assignment (Real Simple Syndication). I find it easier to remember acronyms when I understand what the heck the stand for.
I think that this technology is a boon for anyone who spends time on the internet. Working on the web can be such a time suck and it is always helpful to have things right at your fingertips instead of many keystrokes away.
